An evocative dance between geometry and emotion a surreal landscape where the metaphysical meets the modern. The deep greens and blues invite a meditative calm, while the sharp angles and solitary form echo silent strength. Bringing this artwork home is like bringing in a breath of stillness a pause from noise, a visual hymn to inner quiet. The structure stands not just as an object, but as a symbol of rooted clarity, its shadow hinting at something larger than form. It’s not just a painting , it’s a moment of contemplation, framed and ready to hang.

Meet The Artist

AM Murali

A.M. Murali is a well renowned metaphysical visual artist whose landscapes are not mapped, yet exist vividly within the viewer’s mind’s eye. His works are rooted in unfamiliar terrains that evoke a strange familiarity spaces that feel known, yet unplaceable. He sees his paintings not as fantasies, but as visual notes from his inner world, often pages from an ongoing diary. Murali’s deep connection with Hyderabad his home for over 25 years sparked a shift in his practice. Inspired by the vast, barren terrains of Andhra Pradesh, his work moved from figuration to surreal, metaphysical landscapes that explore humanity through a lens of subaltern idealism. These aren't static frames but active contemplations, visual ideas meant to be extended into installations. Murali resists the decorative clichés of classical styles, instead pushing toward a language that questions, unsettles, and redefines. For him, painting is not an escape it is a rational search to decode mystery through structured form.

Murali has showcased his work at esteemed venues such as Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai; ICCR Gallery, Hyderabad; and ABC Art Gallery, Varanasi. His exhibitions span collaborations with poets, solo shows like DREAMS at Shristi Art Gallery, and remains one of Countries finest Artist in his very own Metaphysical Space .
